For New Yorkers, the summer months mean days at the beach, ice cream sundaes, and extreme weather conditions. You can be trained to support New York City during an emergency like hurricanes, weather-related blackouts and more.
As seen most recently during Super Storm Sandy, volunteers are critical in times of need. EmergeNYCvolunteers help coordinate the distribution of essential items like food, water, and blankets to the community during an emergency. Be prepared; sign up for a training our June 30th byclicking here
